Created from curiosity to share my own stories, intended as a space to show my own creative development. Since it began, Suffoca has been a place to champion learning through doing – making it constantly evolving space for creativity.
I grew up in a home where stories were constantly being shared, and where helping others and working together was sacred. "Everyone has their own things going on", my mum would say, "So listen, and then act – meaningfully".
I am Lewis Boyce, artist, creative collaborator and storyteller – directing and producing multi-platform work – with an emphasis on personal experience, an all-encompassing approach, and sharing ideas whether working, travelling or simply pursuing an idea.
And this is Suffoca.
